Today at Discovery High School, we came together to celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving with a joyful feast, a time to create new memories, and a strengthening of our sense of community.

Thank you to our students, families, faculty, and staff for making Discovery a special place!

As we prepare for the upcoming Thanksgiving break, we encourage everyone to reflect on gratitude, enjoy quality time with loved ones, and recharge for the weeks ahead.

Skill Sprint - 1st Day of Hexter 3

On the first day of each hexter, the students attend a Skill Sprint during the half day. They are scheduled into two different stations for the day. The purpose of Skill Sprint is to refresh the students on the skills they learned during Foundations in order to help them succeed in the new hexter.

This hexter's student council is planning our Thanksgiving Feast for Friday! They are prepping decorations today and planning the food arrangements.

Mr. Wadsworth is teaching a storytelling class this hexter where students go to an elementary school in our district to read stories to little kids! They are practicing for a couple weeks before going out.

Annual Thanksgiving Feast

Brought to you by Discovery Student Council, Mrs. Myers, and Ms. Betsy!

Every year, Mrs. Myers and her student council members organize a Thanksgiving feast for students and staff members of Discovery. After a morning of instruction, we meet in the commons for a huge lunch prepared by our beloved Ms. Betsy. Student Council members and Mrs. Myers help organize, decorate, and serve the food before joining in with us for the merriment! Check out the highlights of the event below.
