Parents,

We have only two weeks left until Winter Break! Just a reminder, please make sure that your kids are coming with jackets. If it is above 32 degrees, we still go out for recess. Also, car riders, please be here in the building by 7:35. This past week we have kept the doors open until 7:40 because we couldn't have safety patrol outside, but we are consistently seeing cars come later and later. The line is usually empty from 7:05-7:20.

School Counseling Update

The School Counseling Department at SFES is collaborating with community partners to support families during the winter holidays. Please see below for holiday support options. Each has its own deadline for registration, but if you would like more information or questions, please contact your school counselor.

Christmas Village Toy Store

This event on December 14 is by invitation only. Invitations are available by contacting your school counselor. Families MUST register through the invitation for a shopping time. This holiday store offers gifts and toys and a substantial discounted price. If you need holiday assistance, but would not like to participate in Angel Tree, this is a great opportunity. Moms Making Moves Holiday Store

We will provide gifts for Elementary age children and younger; babies and toddlers will be included. Parents/Guardians will be able to shop for unwrapped, brand new gifts for their children for FREE and then, utilize our wrapping center to gift wrap and label onsite. This is an in person event and the registered guardian must be present to shop for the registered children. This event is limited to 25 families and each family may register up to 4 children.

The PTA is still in need of gift cards for our teachers for their holiday luncheon. Anyone wanting to donate, please sign up on our website coltspta.org. Different amounts are available! Anything is appreciated. Also, dance ticket prices go up Dec 11th so purchase your tickets for Boots and Suits soon! Also found on the website.
