PSMS Weekly Update

Ella works hard every day and always has a smile on her face. She takes care of all of her assignments and follows up with unfinished work. She is a good friend with a lot of positive energy.

Dahlia always works extra hard in math and goes above and beyond to help other students in her group to understand the math concepts we are working on. She is patient, kind and exemplifies those qualities you look for in a peer model. Keep up the great work Dahlia, you are an asset to our classroom community.

Both students received a certificate for a free round of bowling from PiNZ!

Mrs. Sass and Mrs. White planned a very moving assembly to honor our veterans. Students invited veterans from their families as well as from the local VFW. We thank all our veterans who served, but also want to acknowledge our staff members that are veterans: Mr. Hanlon, Mr. Skinner, Mr. Denietolis and Officer Eliason!

Mrs. Casselman's 6th and 7th grade art class created tunnel books. Artists chose stories to recreate as 3D books. Tunnel books are made up of a series of pages that are held together by folded strips of paper on each side. They are "read" through a hole in the cover. Each page features openings that allow the reader to see through the entire book to the back cover.

This year's musical is The Addams Family. There is an informational meeting Tuesday, November 12th for any students interesting in auditioning or being part of the stage crew. The meeting will be from 3-3:45PM.
