For all December graduates and commuters who have communicated their request to stay on campus: You may pick up your residence hall room key, ID, and temporary parking permit at Chapman House on Monday, May 13th from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM. The residence halls will close on Sunday, May 19th at 12 pm, noon for all graduates. We encourage all graduating residents to begin packing prior to Commencement to ensure a smooth, simple move out process! Graduating residents may choose to move-out their belongings at any point during Senior Week. Note: Woodward residents will not have access to the Emmons St. entrance to campus and cannot park their cars at the back entrance to Woodward during the following times, Thursday, May 16th from 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM and Saturday, May 18th 8 AM – 5 PM. All graduating residents must complete check-out procedures include scheduling a check-out time or completing an express check-out with a Community Advisor or Resident Director where a final inspection of the room will be completed, and students will turn in their residence hall key. As a reminder, all students living on campus must continue to park in their designated parking lot. Congratulations, Bulldogs!
Expectations
Congratulations once again on the completion of your degree - we are so excited to celebrate you throughout the week! Before we jump into the fun, it is important that we highlight the expectations of all participants. Please read the following carefully.
- Living on campus for, and participating in, Senior Week and Commencement is a privilege. All participants are to adhere to all rules, regulations, and responsibilities as outlined within the College's Code of Student Conduct.
- Aside from the outlined responsibilities in the Code of Student Conduct, participants may not have any guest(s) on campus, regardless of their affiliation to Dean College. All approved participants will be easily identified via a Senior Week wristband.
- Failure to abide by the Code of Student Conduct and/or posted directives may result in the participant's forfeiture to participate in Senior Week activities and/or participate in Commencement. This may include immediate removal from on-campus housing and/or being unable to cross the stage at Commencement.
We want participants to have a fun week, but safety is always the top priority. If you or someone you know needs help, please contact Campus Police and Safety immediately: 508-541-1888 (non-emergency) or 508-528-9888 (emergencies). Bulldogs find help for themselves and others.
