Historical Halloween
Students should prepare something about their figure in an age appropriate way, this is done in class, but also discussed at home:
- Primary (3yo- Kindergarten) - Name of Figure
- Lower Elementary (1st-3rd grade) - Name of Figure and 2-3 sentences about what made them a significant person in history
- Upper Elementary (4th-6th grade) - Name of Figure and 2-3 paragraphs about what made them a significant person in history
- Early Secondary (7th & 8th grade) - Name of Figure and an essay or 2-3 minute presentation about what made them a significant person in history
Costumes should be easy and as home-made as possible. Please do not think you have to go out and purchase something! We will not allow masks or play weapons though! i.e.: If you choose a war hero, please plan accessories accordingly.
School Picture Day
School photos will be taken November 7th! Please be sure to dress your child appropriately. We will be taking class photos as well as individuals. All students will be photographed for the yearbook as well as family purchase. Photos will be taken in the morning. Thank you for getting your child to school on time so they do not miss their photo time slot!
