We are off to a great start!
School is at full speed, including homework. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions.
We will be continuing our School-wide Enrichment Model this year. But we need volunteers. On September 15, 22, and 29, between 2pm and 3pm, students will have the opportunity to explore topics not generally included in most classrooms. Sessions ranging from "Milk Magic" to "Learning About Horses" will be included. If you or a family member have time, we could use your help in supporting these enrichment clusters. I will post the proposed list of clusters in this newsletter. We really need parent support in the classroom to make these clusters successful.
The hills are alive, with the sound of ... wasps
Things are off to a great start this year. Even the wasps/ yellow jackets think so. Please take a few moments to update your child's records at school if you think there is any chance they may have an anaphylactic reaction to bee stings. So far we have been lucky, but I don't like to operate on luck, so please let us know if your child may be allergic.
