Greetings Penn Elementary Families!

Thank you to our staff for putting together such a beautiful Winter Fest. It was great to see our students dancing and singing to the holiday season.

A special thank you to our PTA for the hot chocolate gift they gave each one of our students and for organizing such a successful Candy Cane Gram fundraiser. It is not too late to join the PTA and be a volunteer with our PTA. For information please email pennelementarydragons@gmail.com

January will be cold but let's bundle up and come to school every day.

Muchas gracias nuestro personal por el magnifico programa, Winter Fest, que tuvimos en diciembre. Fue hermoso ver a nuestros estudiantes cantar y bailar a los cantciones de la epoca navidena.

Let's keep working on our attendance. We have been able to increase from 86% to 89% attendance rate- yay! Remember, we come to school every day.

Hay que continuar nuestro trabajo en asistencia. Pudimos mejorar del 86% al 89% de asistencia- yay! Recuerde, venimos a la escuela todos los dias.

Do you need to drop off something for your student? Did you need to speak with one of our teachers? Then PLEASE stop at our main office. We have had many unannounced classroom visits by our parents. We love having you on campus but please allow for instruction not to be interrupted after the bell rings. Due to safety concerns, all parents and/or family members must first stop at the main office to get a visitor pass.

Necesita dejar algo para su estudiante? O agendar una cita con la maestra/el maestro? Entonces POR FAVOR pase a nuestra oficina principal. Hemos tenido varias visitas sin citas en nuestros salones. Nos encanta ver a nuestros padres de familia en la escuela pero por favor no interrupta la instruccion despues del suene de la campana. Para la seguridad de nuestra escuela, todos los padres de familia tienen que primero visitar la oficina para recibir su permiso de visitante

We know that illness happens, but if the student is not sick we need to be at school.

ILLNESS AND ABSENCE REPORTING

If your child is ill for any reason or will be absent or tardy from school, please report it by 10:00 am on our attendance line at (619)430-1700.

Make sure to leave your child's name, the date of the absence, the reason for the absence, and your child's teacher's name.

Sabemos question en ocaciones nos enfermamos, pero si el estudiante no esta enfermo es necesario estar en class.

COMO REPORTAR UNA AUSENCIA

Si su estudiante estará ausente por enfermedad o alguna otra razón, por favor de reportarla a nuestra oficina al (619)430-1700 antes de las 10:00 de la mañana.

For favor de comunicarnos el nombre del estudiante, la fecha de la ausencia, la razón, y el hombre del maestro(a).
