Happy First Day, Bateman!
Dear Bateman Families and Friends,
We officially welcomed over 900 students this morning for the start of the 2024-2025 school year! We cannot thank you enough for helping make today such a smooth and successful first day of school. We feel it was the smoothest start to the year yet!
Students spent today engaging in get to know me tasks, building community in their new classrooms, learning routines, and having fun! We were so impressed with how many remembered the Blaze Ways right from the first day of school. We want to hear how your day went! Please let us know here.
Congratulations on getting here on time today! Nice job, parents! Please remember that all parents and caretakers will need to wait outside tomorrow morning during arrival. Our students did a remarkable job coming right in today and were ready to learn! We know they will be ready to do the same moving forward at 7:50am when doors open.
We look forward to sending our first official Buzz this Friday and a few policy updates throughout the week.
Let's have a great year!
Warmly,
Ms. Davos & Ms. Kloepper

Kiss 'n Go Starts TOMORROW!
Our goal is safety and efficiency. Kiss 'n Go procedures have begun! If we all work together and follow procedures, we hope there will be less waiting, traffic, and students will be more safe as they are dropped off.
Refrain from parking in the Kiss ‘n Go lane from 7:30 - 8:05.
Drop off children within the lane and wait for a volunteer to open the car door.
Always follow the guidance of our volunteers that are there to assist with the facilitation of a smooth traffic flow.
For your child’s safety, students should ONLY exit on the passenger side of the car. Our staff is available to assist you. Parent’s should remain in the driver’s seat.
Drive into the Kiss ‘n Go lane from the Berteau/Richmond intersection. Keep the traffic flow moving and remain in your car.
Please refrain from exiting in between the cones.
Please do not leave your car in the Kiss ‘n Go lane.
All grades are welcome to use the Kiss ‘n Go lane.
According to state law, cell phone usage is not permitted within the school zone.
