It is hard to believe that we are already in the month of March. While spring weather is something we typically look forward to… it brings with it the potential for Severe Weather.
Severe Weather Preparedness Week is March 9-15. There will be a statewide tornado drill on Tuesday, March 11th, at approximately 10:15 a.m. Here is a link with additional information.
Introducing Open Gym at Fishers Junior High School starting this Sunday, January 26th from 1-5pm. This program will operate every Sunday until HSE's Spring Break (Jan 26-March 30th) from 1-5pm. Participants are asked to park in the back lot and enter through door 12. All participants will need to sign a liability waiver before participating and a sign in/out sheet as well. No outside food or drinks are permitted, water is the only exception. Brought to you by Fishers Health and Parks Departments, we will be providing basketballs, volleyballs, jump ropes, pop-up pickleball, and playground balls. Students in grades K-8 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (aged 18+) at all times while using the facility. If a participant is under 18 years of age, but currently a 9th grader or above, a parent MUST sign a liability waiver on their behalf before exiting the facility.
