The Pirate Ship
Lytle High School: October 2024
Message from your Principal:
Dear Lytle High School Community,
I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits! I am thrilled to write to you following an incredibly successful and memorable Homecoming Week here at Lytle High School. This week was a true celebration of our school spirit, unity, and the strength of our community, and I couldn’t be more proud of the way our students, staff, and families came together to make it such a positive and uplifting experience.
From the spirited pep rallies and fun-filled dress-up days to the excitement of the athletic events and the unforgettable night parade. Not to forget the bonfire event. Despite not being able to light the bonfire due to high winds we still had our band and cheerleaders perform, delicious food, and fellowship. Our students showcased their school pride, and it was heartwarming to see so many families and community members attending events throughout the week to support and celebrate with us.
I would like to extend a special thank you to our staff, students, as well as the many volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to plan and execute such a successful week of activities. Your dedication, creativity, and hard work made all of the difference in creating a week that our students will remember for years to come.
To our students, thank you for demonstrating exemplary spirit, respect, and responsibility throughout Homecoming Week. You truly embody what it means to be a Pirate, and I am incredibly proud of how you represented our school community.
As we move forward into the rest of the school year, let us carry this sense of pride and togetherness with us. It is through these shared experiences that we continue to grow stronger as a community and as a school.
Thank you again for your continued support of Lytle High School and for making Homecoming Week 2024 such a resounding success. I look forward to the many more moments of pride and celebration we will share in the future.
Warm regards,
Matthew Jenke
