Greenville Plant Tour & Logistics
Wilbert Manufacturers Association | March 2024
About Greenville SC
Greenville has had a lot of buzz lately, including nods from Travel & Leisure, Southern Living, and Condé Nast. While at the midterm meeting, you'll get to experience this welcoming, friendly city and all it has to offer. Enjoy meandering around the thriving downtown to find shopping, art galleries, museums, outdoor activities, city parks, and an incredible restaurant scene! Find out all Greenville has to offer! You may want to extend your stay. Click on the video above to see what the WMA Board thinks about Greenville!
Welcome Reception
Sunday's welcome reception will be held offsite at Camp in the heart of downtown Greenville! You will love this indoor/outdoor venue and the delicious food! One of our favorite local musicians, Spencer Rush, will be there playing tunes! The venue is a short walk from the hotel so wear comfortable shoes and pack a light coat if the weather forecast calls for chilly nights.
Plant Tour & BBQ Lunch – Sponsored by The Wilbert Group
We have a fun group outing this year! Immediately after the meeting on Monday, we will load buses and head to Wilbert Greenville for a plant tour – guests included. And, you'll enjoy a good southern BBQ lunch! Thank you to The Wilbert Group for sponsoring!
Please note: We are assuming everyone is attending (meeting attendees, spouses, kids, and exhibitors), and will count everyone in for lunch and bus transportation unless you opt out.
Rooftop Banquet and Bluegrass Band
Take in beautiful rooftop views of downtown Greenville and the mountains in the distance at the Tuesday night banquet at Avenue, and enjoy bluegrass music from the Reedy River String Band. Once again, our venue is within walking distance of the hotel so wear comfortable shoes.

Favorite Places to Eat in Greenville
Greenville has an incredible food scene. There are so many places to choose from, so Lisa's team has put together a list of their "go to" restaurants in or close to downtown Greenville that are consistent and always provide great service. Restaurants with a * are within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel! You can also find a list of all downtown restaurants and bars here.
Please note that the downtown restaurants get booked quickly for dinner, especially for larger groups. If you see somewhere you want to try, go ahead and make a reservation NOW.
Favorite Lunch Spots
- OJs Diner – Great “meat and three” and politicians’ favorite place. $14 for a meat, three vegetables, roll, and a drink. I like the baked chicken (that they keep hidden) and the turkey/dressing. Breakfast/Lunch. Closed weekends.
- Jasmine Kitchen – Lunch spot right past downtown; 3-5 homemade soups daily; sandwiches, salads. Proceeds support victims of human trafficking. Closed weekends.
Best for a Casual Dinner
- Gather Greenville* – Downtown, outside, took shipping crates and turned into a food court. Good vendors, order at the counter and they text/buzz you when food is ready, live music, a few fire pits. Lunch/Dinner.
- Lewis BBQ – Brisket + nachos, pulled pork, etc. Order what you want and pay by the pound. Big picnic tables outside. Lunch/Dinner.
- Tsunami* – Great sushi. Lunch/Dinner.
- Pomegranate* – Persian cuisine. Lunch/Dinner. Closed Sunday.
- Tako Sushi* – A great variety of Mexican, Asian and sushi. Lunch/Dinner. Closed Sunday.
- Coastal Crust – Wood fired pizza right past downtown in the Village of West Greenville. Doesn’t take reservations. Lunch/Dinner.
Upscale Dining for Dinner
- Trattoria di Giorgio* – Reservations required. Only 10 tables. Get the bolognese. Closed Sunday/Monday.
- Jones Oyster Company* – Small, no reservations, lobster roll is amazing. Lunch/Dinner. Closed Sunday/Monday.
- Camp* - Has some outdoor seating and great cocktails. Lunch on weekends.
- Jianna* – House made pastas and modern Italian menu. Lunch on weekends. Closed Monday.
- Coral* – Seafood, busy/bustling environment. I like the fish sandwich in the bar. Colt likes the fancy wings. Closed Sunday/Monday.
- Rick Erwins West End Grille* – Upscale steak and seafood. Closed Sunday.
- Halls Chophouse* – Prime steaks, regional and fresh seafood specialties. Lunch/Dinner.
- Northampton Wine* – Restaurant, bar, and wine shop. Closed Sunday.

Other Favorites

- Coffee Underground* – Cozy coffeehouse with beverages and food all day.
- Methodical Coffee – Roast their own coffee beans!
- Le Petit Croissant* – House made pastries, sandwiches, and quiche. Closed Monday.
