Dear Marysville Families,
I realize that yesterday's Lockdown was unsettling. I apologize for any worry it may have caused, but I always want to be extra cautious for anything involving student safety. We were very grateful to have had the district security services support all day today. I'm relieved to inform the community that there were no incidents or any further cause for alarm today and we feel confident at this time that there is not a threat to Marysville School.
It is wonderful to be able to end the school week back in a positive and optimistic space. The Marysville staff is grateful to all of the families and the Marysville Family Association for providing wonderful treats and kind messages to the staff in celebration of Staff Appreciation Week (Month, because Marysville likes to go Big). A special shout out to Janelle and Nicole for braving an hour and half in the cafeteria to allow students to write appreciation notes to the staff. Thank you to Gwen and Jessica for organizing all of this joy.
Happy Mother's Day to all of the Marysville Moms and to all of those that provide a mothering role to our students.
