Lockdown Drill
We will be conducting a lockdown drill this upcoming week at Clear Creek High School. We anticipate the drill to last about 15 minutes. During the drill, visitors will not be allowed in the building. Thank you in advance for your support.
Cat Tracks Flex Time & Tutorials
Cat Tracks has been revamped this school year to incorporate character education and four days of flexible scheduling for students. On Mondays, students will report to their homeroom to participate in Leader in Me, a character education program based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®. Tuesday-Friday, students will either be scheduled by teachers for tutorials or will have the opportunity to schedule themselves into various sessions, including study hall, tutorials, or enrichment activities. For more detailed information, please review the attached document.
We believe this new structure will provide students with valuable instructional support during the school day, eliminating the need for mandatory after-school tutorials. If students require additional assistance beyond the time provided during Cat Tracks, they should arrange with their teachers in advance for extra help before or after school.
Connect CCISD
Introducing connectCCISD
We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication in CCISD called connectCCISD powered by ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with our school and the District. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
• Stay up-to-date on the latest CCISD news, announcements and emergency notifications
• View upcoming events
• View all district, school, and classroom communications and receive app notifications
• View photos and videos posted by teachers
• Complete forms online and sign permission slips
• View the school and classroom calendar and RSVP for events
• Easily sign up for volunteer opportunities and/or bring items
• Receive notices (attendance and SchoolCafé)

Attendance
CCISD Attendance Expectation & Calendar
Student attendance in every class every day is crucial to their academic success. Compulsory attendance laws require a student to attend each class at least 90 percent of the days it is offered in order to receive credit or a final grade in a class.
If a student is absent, a parent/guardian must provide a note showing the dates and an explanation for any absence within three (3) days after the student’s arrival or return to school. If this note is not sent within the allocated three (3) days, the absence will be unexcused.
Absence notifications can also be submitted through Skyward Family Access under Attendance and Absence Requests. These notifications are still required to be submitted within three days after the student's arrival or return to campus, but they can also be submitted in advance.
