Run Club is Happening
What's all the excitement about in the morning? It's RUN CLUB! Any student can join at any time. Just come to school at 7:40 am on Tuesday-Friday, grab your card, and get running! We keep track of the laps a student has run by scanning the cards each time a student runs a lap. Eventually, these laps add up to MARATHONS! We give reminders to our students to leave Run Club to make it to class on time. And, YES, parents can run, too. Give it a try. What a great way to start your day!
Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair - Oct. 5-6
The Hometown Fair is set for the weekend of October 5-6. You can start the festivities with the Saturday morning opening day parade. Then watch artists, bands and performers throughout the weekend on three separate stages. Later you can win prizes at game booths and enjoy more than 200 fine arts and crafts booths, delicious food and beverages booths from local non-profits, Civic Corner and Community Place area.
Walk and Roll to School - Oct. 9
Please join us on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 for Walk and Roll to School Day! Parents, school administrators and local officials will be lacing up their sneakers and helping Beach Cities schools start their day with a fun walk to school.
Internet Safety For Parents - 10/14
Skechers Pier to Pier Walk - 10/20
Please join your friends, neighbors, and classmates on Sunday, October 20th either in-person or virtually for the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk. The money raised supports The Friendship Foundation kids, and our own kids at Meadows. For 2024, our goal is to have 223 walkers (in-person or virtually) represent Meadows.
Your generous donation will go a long way toward making a difference for thousands of kids throughout our community; from helping children with special needs make lifelong friendships, to improving our schools with better equipment, programs, and additional material.
Please sign up today! Be sure to designate your contribution to MBEF so your registration supports our schools through MBEF and the Meadows PTA.
Thank you for your support!
Best,
Jennifer Zook Greene & Stephen Hodgson
