Regular Routines
- Report an absence or tardy by calling the school (402-556-6655) and leaving a voicemail with:
- Student's name, Grade, Reason for Absence (sick, vacation, etc) or Lunch Order (if tardy)
- Wednesday is our Spirit Wear Day! Students are allowed to wear any school-related shirt or jersey from a school athletic team with uniform bottoms. Spirit wear
- Thursday is when we have Mass at 8:30 am in the Cathedral. Students are expected to wear their school cardigan sweater for all school Masses.
- Thankful Thursday is our school-wide newsletter and when families can expect handouts to be sent home when necessary. To lower paper waste, e-handouts will be provided via ThT newsletter.
- Sycamore is the platform for school grades, attendance, and more!
- Blackbaud Tuition Management
- Payment via ACH will occur on the 15th of the month
- There will be no late fees for August & September due to the delay in tuition setup
- Payment via cash or check can be applied to your family account if brought to the front office of the school.
- Lunch account balances should be pre-paid or paid in full regularly.
Handbook Highlights
- Devices (cell phone, smart watch, tablet, etc) are not permitted on campus and must be:
- Turned in at the front office upon arrival
- Put away before or after school (morning drop off/afternoon dismissal).
- Water bottles must have a sealed lid (no straw)
- Length of skirts or shorts should be modest and appropriate in length (3 inches above the knee).
- Hair must be a natural color and well-groomed. No mohawks, fauxhawks, bleached, colored, lettering, symbols, carving, or combed to one side to disguise actual length. A hair style may be deemed appropriate by the principal.
- Boys must be above the eyebrows when hair is flattened on the forehead of the student.
- Girls must have hair away from their eyes. Small hair bows and ornaments in red, white, black, or navy only. No hairpieces or scarves are allowed. No hair coloring, hair extensions, tinsel or feathers can be clipped into the hair. No headbands with attachments (sparkle hair, unicorn horns, animal ears, etc).
- No make-up is allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, eye color, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lip stick/gloss, face glitter, foundation, bronzer, acne patches or stickers, and artificial eyelashes. Make-up expectations apply to out of uniform days
- Nails can be one solid color of nail polish (no designs).
- If nails are professionally done and do not follow the above expectations, students will have one (1) week to take care of the infraction.
- Girls are allowed to have 1-2 piercings per ear lobe. These earrings need to be small studs or very small hoops which hug the ear lobe (no dangling, cuffs, or chained earrings). Boys are not allowed to wear earrings. No other piercings are allowed.
π Drop Off & Pick Up π
Please share the information and images below with anyone who will be dropping off or picking up your child at school.
- Green arrow is a one lane, one way between the first and second crosswalk where drop off occurs in the morning only. Be sure to pull all the way up to the second (main) crosswalk to provide the maximum space possible for vehicles.
- Yellow arrow is the one lane, one way entrance area before the first crosswalk.
- Red section is past the third crosswalk. This area is only available for families with children at the child care center. Please park in the parking lot or along both sides of the road past the 3rd crosswalk (to the right of the red section).
- Reserved Parking spot for the Comedy & Cuisine Auction Winner (pictured) is only for the family which has won the spot, and will be up for auction again on March 29th, 2025! If your family did not purchase it, please find another place to park.

πͺ Cathedralfest Raffle Tickets (K - 8th Grade Only) πͺ
First Turn In Tuesday is September 10th! Students will receive a book of 10 tickets on Friday, August 30th. For $5 you'll have a chance at winning the $2,000 1st place cash prize or one of two second prizes of $100 each! Bring ticket stubs and money for raffle tickets sold. Prizes will be awarded two days later on Thursday. Thank you to Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Anderson for continuing this tradition, which is one of our most helpful fundraisers!

Creighton University is offering a STEM experience for middle school students. Flyer specifies 8th grade, but 7th & 6th are also welcome! The students will rotate through a variety of activities - in one workshop the students will extract their own DNA!
