THE CHOCOLATE TOUCH FAMILY NIGHT
Our Chocolate Touch Family Night was a huge success! I want to thank all the staff members that took time out of their schedules to make our night special for all the families. A special thanks to our Reading Specialist, Mrs. Festa, who planned the entire evening. I also want to thank the PTO for donating the decorations, the materials for the stations and the huge raffle baskets.

SMENCIL SALE
Starting Monday, April 7th, Smencils will be on sale during recess! We will be selling Smencils for $1. All money raised goes to the student activity fund.
2025-2026 SCHOOL BUDGET MEETING
There will be a joint meeting with the Board of Aldermen and Board of Education at Shelton City Hall on Thursday, April 10th that begins at 7:00. The Mayor has proposed a $1 million increase to our 2025-2026 budget, the BOE's request was $3.5.
Last year, the Aldermen listened to all of the community's feedback and increased the BOE's funding. The Aldermen recognize the importance of proper education funding and we are optimistic for the same result this year. Your attendance at the meeting would be greatly appreciated

MONTHLY PBIS SCHOOL WIDE REWARD
Any student with 1 or fewer office referrals in the month gets to participate in the monthly school wide PBIS reward. In March, the reward was Ice Cream Day! You can see some of the pictures below of students enjoying their special treat. April’s school wide monthly reward is… PE GAME DAY!
