The project’s training includes 125 hours of coach-specific training: the ACTP program (now called Second Level Coaching training) and is divided into sections:
The practice of ‘do coaching’ (60 hours)
The introductory course is focused on the guidelines of coaching ethics and professional standards and on gaining familiarity with the 8 core competences and basic coaching tools on methodologies.
The modules in this part will cover:
Introduction to Coaching, ICF (International Coaching Federation), the Core Competencies of Coaching, the Ethical Code, Accountability and Responsibility, Emotional Intelligence, Learning Styles, the Structure of Coaching, Questioning, Listening Skills Challenge, the GROW, Contracting.
The art of ‘being a coach’ (65 hours)
The advanced course focusses on a professional and mindful coaching, deepening knowledge and practice.
The modules in this part will cover:
Mindfulness, the Learning Journey, Appreciative Enquiry, Transactional Analysis, Gardener's Intelligences, Team and Group Coaching.
The delivery of both sections is organized predominantly as face-to-face training.
There will be two training sections of 35 hours each:
· Training in Halle, Germany: 27th-31st March 2023
· Training in Amsterdam, Netherlands: 9th-13th October 2023
The remaining hours of each section will be covered by online meetings, individual study guided by trainers using recommended materials, and participation in online discussions.
2. Advantages of participating in the project training
The project’s ICF-accredited coach training program will count toward the training requirements to obtain ICF Credentials and will give the participants the chance to become an ICF Member.

Coaches honour the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole.
Standing on this foundation, the coach's responsibility is to:
● Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve
● Encourage client self-discovery
● Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies
● Hold the client responsible and accountable
This process helps clients to dramatically improve their outlook on work and life, while improving their skills and unlocking their potential.
3. ICF (International Coaching Federation) Framework
The International Coaching Federation is the world’s largest organization of professionally trained coaches. ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
For many, coaching is a life-changing experience that dramatically improves their outlook on work and life while improving leadership skills. Coaching helps people tap into their potential, unlocking sources of creativity and productivity.
