Presidents' Update
Dear MTA Families,
We are in the final stretch! Tonight is our LAST Guild meeting at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Uniform exchange + logo items will be there also if you want to get a head start on next year. 😉
Voting starts tonight at the Guild meeting for the open Site Council position. You may vote at the Guild meeting or in the front office tomorrow during school hours. One vote per family.
Teacher Appreciation Week is this week!
Help us spoil our MTA *stars* - all our amazing teachers and staff next week! Attached is a daily guide with the designated themed days along with a *fan mail* letter + template to add a gift card to give as a gift.
We are also planning meals and other fun treats throughout the week.
Don’t forget our fabulous support staff too- ex: front desk, custodians, librarian, nurse, specials, cafeteria, etc.

MTA Owl Store Updates
- The OWL Store experienced a massive turnout this week! We sold out of nearly all of our items, including every item we have for over 20 tickets! We anticipate a similar scenario next week as everyone utilizes their remaining tickets (they cannot carry over to the next year). We're incredibly grateful for the support of MTA families and volunteers in making the OWL store a success. If you'd like to contribute to the final store of the year, we've updated our Amazon wish list with items that students are most interested in.
- You can send Amazon items directly to the school at this link.
- We’re also very thankful for the generous donations that have been dropped off at MTA! Please keep the OWL Store in mind if you have any extra gift bag or holiday goodies, gently used stuffed animals or Squishmallows your student is no longer using (tags not needed!), or books your child has outgrown. Thank you sincerely for your ongoing support!
Yearbooks
- An additional limited quantity of yearbooks will be for sale once they are published in May.
- Email rwehrenberg@madisoned.org for questions.
Ongoing GotSneakers Fundraiser:
- 👟 ♻️ Our sneaker drive is now ongoing, all year long- simply drop off your sneakers (in any condition) to the front office.
- Can be men/women/kids shoes
- Make sure to share with family, friends + neighbors so we can recycle + fundraise for a good cause.
- Please click here for link for more info on the organization!
Raptor (Volunteer System)
Thank you for your patience with Raptor. The hours are now viewable for parents. Yay! There is a delay for hours added manually. Many hours are submitted at the end of the month - so if you attended a Guild meeting, helped at a sports game, did uniform laundry, etc., those hours will populate the following month.
If you received an email regarding your hours in error, send us an email: mtaguildboard@gmail.com
We strongly suggest you keep a log (ex: Notes app in your phone) of your hours should there be a discrepancy.
Also- please sign up for hours using your name in Raptor. We are unable to assign hours to a name not in the system. If a teacher is crediting your hours, make sure they are using your correct name also. Thank you for your help with this.
If you are having technical issues (password, etc.) with your Raptor account, contact Liz Hernandez at the District office at lhernandez@madisoned.org
