Homestead Principal Updates

Good Evening Mustang families,

Each year the state of Texas releases their annual TAPR and the Federal report card in February. As always our school does a great job and scores above State and district averages. This data is used to look for areas that we did well in and areas that we need to work on. We compare that data and the data from locally used assessments to see where we need to improve. We take the time to look at all data pieces for each student to make decisions about learning plans for students. Please talk with your classroom teacher for how your child is progressing. There are lots of exciting events on our calendar for this month, please take a moment to review them down below. Please note that the students have no school on Feb. 14th and Monday the 17th due to Presidents Day. Our Valentine parties will be held on Thursday Feb. 13th. Parents(only) may sign up to attend the party here.
