Principal's Message
We are thrilled to announce that Spring Trail will be hosting an International Night to celebrate the incredible diversity within our community. This special event aligns perfectly with our mission and vision of Empowering Excellence, Embracing Diversity, and Enriching Futures.
Here at Spring Trail, we are proud to be a vibrant, multicultural community with families who speak over 29 different languages. International Night is our opportunity to honor and celebrate the rich cultures that make our school so unique.
Event Details:
Date: May 1st, 2025
Time: 6:00-7:30pm
Location: Spring Trail Elementary
This exciting evening will feature cultural tables hosted by our families and staff, showcasing food, traditions, and artifacts from around the globe. For example, you can look forward to tables representing Italian, German, and Polish cultures with authentic food items. We are also seeking tables that highlight cultural experiences such as henna art, prayer rugs, and other meaningful elements.
We would love for you to join us in making this event a success! If you are interested in hosting a table to share your culture with our community, please let us know by completing the Google Form below. Once we receive your response, we will provide additional information to help you prepare.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the diversity that makes Spring Trail such a special place. We can’t wait to see you at International Night!
What's Happening in School?
Mrs. Leakakos's Classroom
A few students in Mrs. Leakakos class have been working on their informational writing and began researching a country of their choice. The students worked really hard to find detailed information about the country then put that infomraiton into a presentation that they would share with their class. Our friend, Sanvi was first to present and she did a spectacular job sharing information about Italy. Mr. Krause and I can't wait to see what other interesting facts we can learn about other countries from our friends in Mrs. Leakakos's class!
Kindergarten Open Gym
Our very first open gym occurred this week in Kindergarten! The students who were present 4 out of 5 days in the week were able to participate in the open gym! We are very proud to share that ALL of our Kindergarteners were able to participate. I would say they had a spectacular time playing in the gym with their friends! WAY TO GO!!!!
Kindergarten Registration
On February 4th, Spring Trail will be hosting an evening event (5:30-6:30) for our families. The presentation will begin at 5:30 and will provide parents with an opportunity to learn about what to expect in Kindergarten. The presentation will be about 30 minutes long and then we can answer questions families may have about school. Our PTO will also be present at this event to share all the opportunites for fun they host throughout the school year.
For information on how to register and the paperwork required for registration, please go to this link. Be sure to scroll down on the page to see the "How To"
Please share this information with anyone you know that might have a child who will be 5 on or before September 1st, 2024.
We look forward to meeting our future TIGERS!

100th Day of School & Baby Drive
On January 23rd, students and staff came together to celebrate the 100th day of school! While we might have "aged" a bit that day, these spirited seniors still know how to have fun at school! Alongside the exciting 100th-day activities, we also concluded our baby drive with tremendous success. Our primary grades (K-2) contributed an incredible 861 items, while our secondary grades (3-6) donated 326 items. A heartfelt thank you to our community for their generosity and support in making this baby drive a meaningful event for our local partner!
