Band Camp 2015
After an amazing summer, we are back to the grind of school and Marching Mizzou! As always, our chapter helped to fit every member of Marching Mizzou for their uniforms, working for 4.5 days at lunch and dinner breaks, and then finishing up the week with pictures on Friday. Maddie and Jordan are our amazing uniform chairs this season, and they have done such a great job so far.
This year, we have 7 of our 12 sisters as members of Marching Mizzou, representing our chapter in the piccolo, alto sax, tenor sax, and clarinet sections, as well as a drum major. We are so excited to see what this football season brings us.
We are also happy to announce that a member of our chapter will be in charge of Big MO this year, along with the help of our brothers in Kappa Kappa Psi. We are very excited for this adventure!
Get ready for an awesome football and marching season, and GO TIGERS! MIZ!
Alpha Omicron
Josh Raub, Erin McCann, and Maddie Hirsch (all members of last year's Alpha Omicron class) after being fitted for uniforms (even though Erin isn't in Marching Mizzou :) )

What We've Been Up To
National Convention 2015 - Lexington, Kentucky
This summer, July 28th - August 2nd, 3 of our members (Laura Cooke, Zach Gummersheimer, and Josh Raub) packed up and headed to Lexington, Kentucky for Nat Con 2015. They had a chance to watch ritual, go to meetings, and have a little fun along the way! They had a great time! Looking forward to Nat Con 2017 in Florida! (More updates to come!)
Joint Barbecue at the end of the school year
Big MO Fun!
Erin McCann, the new Big MO chair, and Maddie Hirsch at the Friday night band camp rehearsal. We got the opportunity to practice with Marching Mizzou so that Big MO can be involved in the National Anthem!
September Alumni of the Month - Nicole McMorris
Favorite memory as an active: FUN WEEK from my sophomore year! Not only did I have two daughters that I got to spoil that week, but I also got to lead Fun Night with Brittani and Dana! Favorite college band memory: IRELAND! Why did you join? To meet more people that were involved in band at Mizzou, and to continue serving the community. When did you join? Fall 2011, class Alpha Lambda Did you hold any leadership positions? VP/SAA, Spring 2013; SAA Fall 2013-Spring 2014 What was your favorite part of the PM process? Definitely walk-out and fun night. Both times we got to hang out with the “old farts” and learn new things about the active members and our chapter. Also, we learned the TBS chants and steps, which was really cool What are you doing now? I’m in my fifth year at Mizzou, and will be graduating in May with a BS in Biology and BSEd in Science Education. I plan on applying for physician assistant school after I graduate. Has TBS helped you in any way in the “real world”? I’m really not in the “real world” yet tongue emoticon Don’t make me adult yet. What do you miss about being an active? As weird as it sounds, I really miss uniforms. And getting to see my sisters on a regular basis.
