FEBRUARY HIGHLIGHTS
Mrs. Broder's Honors Anatomy class dissected sheep eyes as a part of their unit on The Nervous System and Senses. Students have already dissected chicken wings and sheep brains. Later this year, they will dissect sheep hearts and cats. It is great to have the ability for students to get hands-on knowledge in addition to the notes and worksheets they do in class!
Paulsboro's Junior and Senior High School hosted Pasta with the Principal Renaissance event at the Sportsmen's Club. 75 students earned Red and Gold cards to participate in this event based on grades, attendance, and good behavior. Paul Morina and Monica Moore-Cook attended the event along with faculty members who served the students. Christine Lindenmuth graciously cooked the meal. Students had the chance to participate in trivia questions based upon our school and community and earned gift cards for correct answers.
Mr. Marcucci's Social Studies class celebrated Black History Month by watching 42 and completing diary entries including visuals as on of the characters from the movie.
