I am beyond excited to see all of our students back at Turnbow Elementary! It has been way too long!!!
I have included our Class Lists in this newsletter so you can see who your child will have as a teacher this year. Listed with the teacher's name is his or her email address and room number. If you have any questions, you can reach out by email at any time and the teacher will follow up with you. Our Turnbow Teachers are SO EXCITED to meet our students!
Many of you have called asking about our Open House. Unfortunately, we won't be able to meet on campus for an Open House but our teachers are sharing digital information for you and your child. I will have the links in their grade level section below. Also, teachers will be calling you this week to make connections with you and your child and to answer any questions you may have about the first day of school.
Our drop off and pick up for car riders will be DIFFERENT THIS YEAR! All car riders will pull all the way around to the back of the school to drop off students in the mornings as well as to pick up in the afternoon. You will be given a car rider tag with a number assigned to your child that you must display on your rearview mirror each day. We will pass these out in the car rider line on the first day of school. If you don't have that tag, you will have to pull up to the front office and show your Photo ID to check out your child.
Unfortunately, no visitors (parents) will be allowed in the building until the COVID-19 virus situation improves. This is to protect the safety of our students and staff members. There will be a Touchless Checkout QR Code on the front door that you can complete when you arrive at school if you need to check out your child. You go through the questions on the form and your child will be brought to the front door for you. Don't forget to bring your Photo ID. ID's have to be checked before we give a child to a visitor. Thank you for helping us keep all of our kids safe!
I assure you we are doing everything possible to prepare for the safe return of our students and staff! Our school will be clean and good hygiene will be practiced by everyone! We want our kids at school and we understand that the safety of their health is the number one priority!
