Principal's Corner
Dear Hirsch Hawk Parents and Guardians,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday filled with gratitude, family, and delicious food. We are excited to welcome our students back to school tomorrow, refreshed and ready to continue their journey of learning and growth.
As the holiday season approaches, it’s a beautiful time to reflect on the diverse traditions and celebrations that make our Hirsch community so special. Whether you observe Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or other meaningful traditions, this time of year reminds us of the importance of family, kindness, and giving back to our community.
We are thrilled to invite you to our Winter Wonderland Literacy Night on Thursday, December 5, in partnership with The Children's Museum of Houston. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to celebrate literacy in a fun and festive atmosphere. Join us for an evening filled with interactive activities, holiday cheer, and a chance to create lasting memories.
Students will also have the opportunity to take photos with a very special guest—Santa Claus! Pictures are available for $5 cash. We look forward to seeing everyone come together to enjoy this festive occasion.
Thank you for continuing to support our school and for sharing your unique family traditions and stories with us. Together, we’ll make this holiday season one to remember for all of our Hirsch Heroes.
Warm wishes,
Principal Patterson

Schools of Choice
Dear 5th Grade Parents:
It's time to start planning for Middle School! Spring ISD offers both choice and program opportunities for students. The goal is to ensure families can find the best fit for their student, whether it’s taking part in a specialty program at their neighborhood campus or applying to one of the district’s schools of choice.
The opportunities to explore different interests and careers are extensive and distinguish Spring ISD as a district of choice with no limits on what students can achieve.
With students at the center of everything we do, we want our families to have options as they look for the right fit for their child. No matter what school your child attends, our mission is always the same: Provide an excellent education that prepares students for lifelong success – in college, career and/or the military.
Learn more about our schools of choice below. Please note, families can apply to multiple schools using a single online application.

Attendance Matters!
Attendance is so important for student success. Hirsch Elementary is committed to encouraging students to come to school everyday. Each grade level is participating in weekly and monthly attendance contests to see who has the highest attendance. Classes and grade levels with the highest attendance will get a reward! Everyday attendance equals everyday success. Thank you for partnering with us for your child's success.
