If there have been any changes to your contact information, please contact the school office with the new information. This includes address, email, and phone numbers.

This is very important as we prepare for the new school year!

ENROLLMENT

Thank you for promptly submitting your re-enrollment information in December.

If your situation has changed since then, please make sure that you contact our Student Data Management Clerk, Mrs. Patterson, at lpatterson@newlifeacademyga.com to begin the withdrawal process. This will greatly help with transitioning to other schools, as well as opening up spots for those on our current wait list.

MEDICATION

As the medication pick-up deadline has passed, all medication has been disposed of at both campuses. All students requiring medication at school will need a new Authorization Form and new medication brought to the school by an adult after the start of the new school year.

IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Please review immunization requirements for students and a TDAP-Meningitis parent fact sheet for students entering 7th grade. The new vaccine requirements apply to students who are born on or after 1/1/2002 AND entering 7th grade. The requirements also apply to students who are new entrants to 8th-12th grade. New entrants are students who have never attended any school in Georgia or have not attended any school in Georgia for at least one full school year.

Parents/Guardians, please make sure you have a My Payments Plus account by August!

If you have an account, please make sure to check your MyPaymentsPlus account for fees and balances that need your attention! All library and lunch balances can be viewed under your account.

ATTENTION!

• 🥪 Lunch balances will rollover to the next year. Those ending the year with a negative balance will begin the next school year with the charges owed.
  
• 📖 Check your fees! Library fees will also rollover to the next year. To continue checking out books in the new school year, students must not have outstanding fees in their account.

Families will be able to submit a Free/Reduced Lunch Application for School Year 2024-2025 on July 1, 2024.

**A new application MUST be submitted every year. Not submitting an application will result in a FULL PAY eligibility, regardless of past eligibility.

This summer the GCPS School Nutrition Program program is providing free breakfast and lunch through the Seamless Summer Operation (SSO) at select locations. Meals will be provided to anyone 18 and under, at designated SSO sites from June 10-June 28 for elementary and middle schools, and June 10-July 3 for high schools.

Please note that June 19th is a school holiday, and all GCPS locations will be closed. All meals must be consumed on-site.

In addition, Gwinnett County Government will offer a Summer Meals Program. This program is a federally funded, county-administered program, where shelf-stable meals are available for curbside pickup at select locations. Beginning Tuesday, May 28 until Friday, August 2, families can stop by to grab free breakfast and lunch between 11:00am and 1:00pm, Monday through Friday, while supplies last.

Families can also visit Gwinnett Cares and Food Finder for additional food resources.

It's never too early to start preparing for the next school year!

In order to beat the summer rush, our uniform providers are asking families to be begin making purchases as soon as possible. This will allow them time to get orders in before school starts with minimal back orders.

❗❗**Rising 6th Grade and New Middle School Students will need to purchase a New Life Academy of Excellence Burgundy Blazer before the first day of school. Blazers should be ordered ahead of time due to fittings and order processing time.
