Margaret M. Soule Library at Kate Furbish Elementary School
On Tuesday, May 6th, we recognized Mrs. Margaret Soule, who served as an elementary librarian at the Brunswick School Department for thirty years. She joined the Brunswick Schools in 1991 at Jordan Acres School. When all the elementary schools consolidated, she worked tirelessly to update the libraries, sort books to appropriate age ranges, and packed and organized the whole library several times! In fact, during Mrs. Soule's tenure here in Brunswick, she closed and reopened a library twice during the merging of the elementary schools and the construction of the new Kate Furbish Elementary School.
Please join us in thanking Mrs. Soule for her years of dedication and devotion to countless Brunswick students and families! The Kate Furbish Elementary School is formally named and dedicated to Margaret M. Soule.
