Highlights on The Mesa
From the Principal's Office
Greetings Aztecs,
Let’s show our school spirit this week. Research shows that students who participate more often in school events and extra curricular activities have higher academic outcomes. What graduates remember most about high school are the fun times on campus and how they were made to feel by the caring adults that support their learning. Let us all come together this week to have fun, create memories and strengthen our school connections. Go Aztecs.
Mission on the Mesa!
As a reminder, here is the link to our Community School tab which has the various survey links on the right hand side.

Non-Privilege List
At MOH, we implement a non-privilege list. The list is created and updated regularly based on the following:
- Discipline: Any students suspended from school will be added to the list and may roll over to the next grading period for excessive referrals to the Assistant Principal.
- Attendance: 3 full day unexcused absences/18 single period unexcused absences or 12 unexcused tardies.
Click on the link to access the list:
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1v46TN4iNSEfQIYnATVHMFMJ9AYOQVyo8a8jx7j9Vaio/edit?usp=sharing
Students on the list are not able to attend or buy tickets to extra curricular activities outside of the school days such as dances or athletic events.
How to Clear Your Name from the List:
For Attendance: Attend Saturday School!
Discipline: Maintain behavior reflecting our Aztec values. Students will be re-evaluated at the end of each grading period. Referrals to the Assistant Principal will impact removal from the non-privilege list. We strongly encourage you to attend Saturday School!
