Final Exams (Grades 9-11)
Final Exams for underclassmen will take place from Friday, June 14th- Wednesday, June 19th. Each day we will hold two exams with a break in between. Teachers will be available in the afternoon to provide extra help and facilitate Division 1 Roundtables. All students are expected to attend their final exam period unless they have a Saber Flex, Academic Support, or Math Support class that period. Please note also that, as final grades are due from teachers the morning of June 20th, there is no grace period or re-assessment window for these final assignments. See below for a more detailed schedule.
Year-End Grades
Progress reports with year-end course scores will be available on PowerSchool by 3:30pm on Thursday, 6/20. As a reminder, these are the scores that show up on a student's transcript.

Student Services
2024-2025 Schedules:
Students going into grades 10-12 received their tentative schedules for next school year this week in advisory. Counselors are available to meet with students regarding their schedule through next week and by appointment early the following week. Counselors are also available by appointment prior to the school year in August. Students are encouraged to stop in to Student Services and see Michelle Paul if they need to schedule a meeting with a counselor.
Rising Seniors - Anticipate needing to submit College Applications this Summer?
We will be having a virtual Info Session on Zoom Tuesday, 6/18 at 6:30 PM for students that anticipate needing to submit College Application & supporting materials prior to the start of the school year. It is not common that students should need to submit applications and their materials over the summer. Generally we would encourage students to wait until the fall when they will have a lot of built in support and access to their counselor. That said, some circumstances (ex. athletics recruiting and occasionally an international college, special program or military service academy) may find students seeking to have their materials in over the summer. We want to make sure that students potentially in those circumstances understand the steps they need to take. Pre-registration is required - Families can register for the Zoom here by Tuesday 6/18 by 3pm - if registration is low, we may follow up with students/families individually.

What is your role at Souhegan?
French teacher
How long have you been with Souhegan?
This is my first year at Souhegan, and my 10th year teaching.
What do you love about your job?
I love the enthusiasm the students bring to class; their questions and willingness to express themselves and challenge themselves in French is inspiring! Seeing students progress from the novice levels through advanced levels of language, seeing them discover cultures and traditions and helping students celebrate their linguistic success brings me joy.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to take long walks, and am enjoying discovering new hikes and paths in the area, since I am a relative newcomer to southern New Hampshire. I also love traveling solo, with family, with friends and with students; I'm always planning our next trip.
If you were given one wish what would it be?
I hope that people learn to appreciate and value the richness of languages and cultures around the world! We have so much to learn from each other.
Do you have a favorite quote or mantra?
"Inconceivable!" from The Princess Bride; and "Le coeur a ses raisons, que la raison ne connaît point." - Blaise Pascale
