Halloween
Look for information from your child’s teacher regarding Halloween.
We have very young children in our school, and we want Halloween to be fun, not scary! If you are shopping for your child's costume, know we do not allow costumes that are gory (no blood, guts, or eyeballs hanging out), immodest, or otherwise inappropriate for kids. Students with inappropriate costumes will be required to change.
No weapons: Real or pretend
No makeup/face paint, hair spray, glitter, or hair dye
Lakeside clothing
Each fall, we sell clothing as a fundraiser so each Lakeside student can get a Lakeside PRIDE t-shirt in the spring. This is a part of our PBIS programming.
Orders will be taken now through December 2024.
Goldstar has created new, awesome designs for this year!

MySAEBRS screener
Since the pandemic, we have realized the need for social-emotional support more than ever. To support this need, all Lakeside students will complete a social emotional screener called mySAEBRS. mySAEBRS has 20 questions and takes about 3-5 minutes for students to complete. (We did this same screener during the 2022-23 and 23-24 school years) Your child’s answers will be used to help teachers select topics for their class connect time, as well as identify students that may need extra support. Your child will be completing this screener sometime during Oct 28th-30th in their classroom. If you have questions about this screening tool, please contact Sara Johnson (smjohnson@isd2144.org or 651-213-2301)
If you do NOT want your child to participate in this screening, please sign and return the opt-out letter by Oct 25th
Food Service: Ala Carte
A la carte options will be available for purchase starting on October 1st. This year, students must have funds in their meal account to purchase a la carte items and cash will no longer be accepted on the meal line. As always, envelopes are available at the front desk to deposit cash or checks and/or deposits can be made into your students meal account through Paypams.
