As we begin the new school year, I wish you all a wonderful 2015/2016. May the excitement of the first week last through June!

Make sure you know how all of your students are going home by Tuesday at 12:30 (bus, walk/pick up on Claire side, walk or pick up on Western side.) If you do not know by 12:30 and need an extra pair of hands to help contact parents let the office know. Two bike racks have been moved to the Claire side.

Please remember to read the Student Arrival and Student Dismissal sent out in email. Important items to remember:

• bells ring at: 8:05, 8:15, 3:00, 3:03, 3:05
  
• with your grade level partner decide who will walk students to the door who live on the Claire side and who will walk students to the door on the Western side.
• 4K has two arrivals and two dismissals
  
• YCARE is in the cafeteria
  
• bus riders are dismissed at 3:00
• students living on Claire side are dismissed at 3:03
  
• students living on Western side are dismissed at 3:05
  
• all students walk on sidewalk
  

The first week of school will be an "A" week. Vanduser, Schmitz, Schultz, Nelson, and Fischer have library. There will be no guidance or grade level PLCs the first week of school. You may meet or plan together if you choose.

Breakfast will be delivered to your classroom by Chartwell's around 8:00. Randy will have breakfast trash cans for breakfast garbage in the hall. Please do not put breakfast trash in classroom trash can. Breakfast ends at 8:30.

Each room should have a page protector with red and green emergency classroom procedures hanging in your room. You should also have a tornado route and a fire drill route posted by your door (Enders, you will need to post by both doors.) If you need any of these three items please let Donna know ASAP. Review tornado and fire drill with your class. More specifics on lockdowns will come in the next update

Wednesdays (Wellness Wednesdays) are dedicated to athletic gear and sneakers to promote wellness around the district. Join us in wearing appropriate gear on Wednesdays.

Fridays are jeans days (as well as any half day for students.) You may wear jeans ( no torn, frayed, or ripped) and a school/district/red spirit shirt or Packer wear. Show your support!
