The All Pro Dads of Brookwood Elementary had a fantastic start to the year with a well-attended meeting in the Colt Cafe'. Students and their dads (or other caring adults) gathered for a delicious breakfast and a thoughtful discussion on Purpose.
The group explored the idea that sometimes we need to do things we don't enjoy because they serve a greater purpose. It was a valuable conversation that fostered strong connections and reinforced the importance of positive role models in our students' lives.
Brookwood Elementary School had a fantastic day of unity and peace! Our students and staff joined with the Brookwood cluster and Gwinnett County Public schools for two special events: Unity Day and the Day of National Concern.
For Unity Day, we wore orange to show our support for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. It's a powerful way to unite against bullying and create a positive school climate.
On the Day of National Concern, our students were invited to sign the Brookwood Pledge Banner, joining millions of students nationwide who pledge to work together to keep themselves, their schools, and their communities safe.
We're so proud of our students and staff for participating in these important events. Together, we're making a difference!

Witzzle Pro is a fast-paced game that requires players to use math facts, operations, and problem-solving skills to manipulate digits and form a target number. It's a great way to have fun while learning. Students who join must know their multiplication and division facts with fluency. That means you can recall them quickly.
