Let's talk crosswalks! I know Officer Escalante talked about using the crosswalks to cross the street and I have seen students doing a good job of this. What I am not seeing is students push the buttons that turn on the flashing lights. So I challenge you, push the button each and every time you come to the crosswalks. Even if there is no one coming, go ahead and push that button. Your safety is of utmost importance. It is such an easy thing to do. Thank you!

Our picture studio had issues this last week and so we had to move our MJSHS Picture Day to September 17. Please put the date on the calendar and we will continue to remind you up until the day of the pictures.

It's time to restart our Senior Spotlight and Bulldog of the Week. The first part is easy. We will work our way down our awesome senior class, learning a little more about each and every senior. The Bulldog of the Week will be those students who are doing something "Dogworthy" inside or outside the hallways of MJSHS. We will have a high school and junior high recipient each week. Let's see our school go above and beyond all year long.

Each week our athletic director, Derek Pretre, will have his weekly messages and schedules of the upcoming activities/athletics for the week. Kacy Roesch goes up high for the spike as our varsity volleyball team opened the sports seasons Saturday with our own Invitational. Even though the girls missed bracket play, they did some great things in setting the stage for a successful season.
