Shorts May Be Worn
Beginning Monday, April 7th students may wear uniform shorts (black for gym, blue or khaki for regular uniform days) and may wear appropriate length and loose fit shorts on grub days. Shorts of any kind may not be worn on Mass or Church days (stations, rosary etc). Appropriate length for any shorts is defined as being no shorter than 5 inches above the knee.
New Ohio Resources for Students
Effective April 9, Ohio law requires each city, local, and exempted village school district, chartered nonpublic school, community school, STEM school, and college-preparatory boarding school serving students in any grade 9 through 12 to include the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline telephone number on all of the following, if provided or used by the school:
- Student identification cards issued after April 9;
- Planners issued to students after April 9; and
- Any electronic portal administered by the district or school that may be accessed by students.
The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services provides resources that may help schools with updating materials, including the 988 Toolkit and Materials Generator.
While the law does not pertain directly to our Catholic Elementary schools, the Diocese is encouraging schools to make this information available to all students and families.
The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline provides 24/7, free, and confidential support to Ohioans in a mental health crisis. Ohioans can call or text “988” to reach a trained specialist for help and support. Contact 988ohio@mha.ohio.gov for questions about the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
We have added the below flyer to our parent resource tab on our website.

Donate to the Angel Scholarship
The Angel Scholarship Fund
Through the Ohio Catholic Community Foundation’s Angel Scholarship, you can redirect a portion of your state tax liability to support tuition assistance for our students. This means that while you make a donation now, you can claim the amount as a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when filing your state taxes. It’s a wonderful way to give without the extra financial burden. Don't forget, any tax paying Ohioans can make a donation so spread the word to family and friends! For more information or questions about this program, please reach out to Mr. Jeff Flaherty at the parish office.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can continue to strengthen our school family and support our mission.
Drop off and Pick up Reminders
