Superintendent's Message
As the school year comes to an end, I wanted to thank you for your continued support of our district. We appreciate you entrusting us with your children each and every day. With less than a month to go, we will finish the year strong. I wish you all a restful, rejuvenating summer, and look forward to an extremely successful 2024-2025 school year.

May: Mental Health Awareness Month
For Mental Health Awareness Month, we have an opportunity to break the stigma around mental health in our campus by talking openly, compassionately, and kindly to each other. No one should ever struggle alone.
School staff are the backbone of student well-being, but remember that you also can’t pour from an empty cup.
During Mental Health Awareness Month, NAMI joins the mental health community to reaffirm our commitment to building our understanding of mental illness, increasing access to treatment and ensuring those who are struggling know they are not alone.
If you or someone you know wants to be connected to a mental health care provider, contact Care Solace, a complimentary and confidential mental health care coordination service provided by Post Falls School District:
- Call 888-515-0595. Multilingual support is available 24/7/365.
- Visit www.caresolace.com/pfsd and either search on your own OR click “Book Appointment” for assistance by video chat, email, or phone.
Don’t hesitate to ask for help, use the resources around you, and never give up hope.

Greensferry Elementary Time Capsule
From the CdA Press article on April 26th: "Greensferry Elementary School opened in 2016. The first fifth graders to walk the halls of that new elementary school are now high school seniors, many of them at Post Falls High. In the spring of 2017, they conducted a "Letter to Myself" project and tucked words of elementary school wisdom into a time capsule, to be read by their future selves as their 12th grade year came to a close."

What advice do PFSD students have for Future Teachers?
In the fall we asked some PFSD students what advice they would give to future teachers, and we shared this at Eastern Washington University's mid-year teacher commencement ceremony. This short video is a compilation of our students' thoughts about what traits make a teachers their "favorite." Enjoy!
