Double Point Day for Pacers March 31
Don't Forget Your Running Shoes
We will have a special last recess schedule on the 31st, as Mayor Simison will be joining us a PVE to run a few laps. We will be making this time a special double point day! More details to come when we return from break.
ROARING READER
DUE April 1
Your child has a reading chart to complete to earn one free day pass for Roaring Springs Waterpark. They are encouraged to read for 600 minutes (or 800 minutes for 5th graders). Next, they must fill out the reading chart, (kindergarteners and first graders might need a little assistance with this task), and return to school no later than Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
Thanks for your partnership! If you have any questions, please email kaler.jen@westada.org.
HAWKS READING PROGRAM
It is that time of year again, where we can race the bases to score a HOMERUN and earn a ticket to one of the Boise Hawks baseball games. *Dates are listed in the program flyer your child brought home today.
Students are asked to set a goal each week. Once they read and meet that goal, parents may sign in place of the teacher to show a student has met the requirements. Please RETURN ONLY the second page with the parent signature and the student information to the front office for your child to get their ticket. We will immediately add a ticket to the page and send it back home with your child.
All Reading Assignments (second page of the flyer) are due by April 25!

ATTENDANCE
New this year, we have an automated system for calls! Don't worry, we are still answering calls as the first option; we know talking to someone right away is important. However, after business hours our phone to immediately change to an automated system. During business hours, the automated voicemail system will pick up after 4 rings, indicating that the front office staff is either on the phone or helping someone in the office.
You will have the option of the following when the automated system answers:
Press 1 for Office
Press 2 for Attendance
Press 3 for Health Office
Press 4 for Transportation
If you are simply calling to report your child's attendance, you may call 208-350-4498.
