Thank You For Your Donations!
Thank You for Faculty and Staff Appreciation Donations!
Thanks to our parents/guardians for the donations to the GoFundMe for Appreciation at Eagan HS. On May 6th the Faculty and Staff were treated to a Coffee/Tea Delivery from Misfit Coffee. Then, at lunch they were served Jersy Mike’s subs, chips and Nothing Bundt Cake Bundtinis. Everyone enjoyed the treats – and not having to pack a lunch for one day.
Our gratitude to all who donated and to the EHS parents who organized this effort for EHS.
Brandon Carl Named Coach of the Week by the Minnesota Vikings!
After each week of games during the high school girls flag football season, the Vikings honor a coach of the week. Coaches are chosen based on their contribution on the football field, but more importantly, on the impact they make within their community and for their student-athletes. In addition to being recognized in local media for the achievement, the school's girls flag football program receives a $1,000 donation on behalf of the Minnesota Vikings. This week Brandon was named one of the Minnesota Vikings coaches of the week.
Brandon Carl has been the driving force behind girls flag football. His efforts to build this program have been incredible.
Last Sunday, representatives from the MN Vikings were at EHS for our first home game. One of their directors from the Community Relations department let us know how amazing it was. He was so impressed and said no one has done anything like this. Follow the link below for the complete story.

Eagan High School Hosts Inaugural Girls Flag Football Game
Last Sunday marked a notable moment for girls' sports in Minnesota as Eagan High School hosted its first girls' flag football game. The event was a nod to athleticism and teamwork and brought together fans, families, and local sports enthusiasts.
The atmosphere at Eagan High School was lively. It was more than just a football game; it was a community gathering. Food trucks were available, offering a variety of options, ensuring attendees had something to enjoy. Additionally, representatives from the Minnesota Vikings were present, showing their support for the flag football scene and encouraging the young athletes.
Despite the team's loss, the game showcased skill, strategy, and determination. The players demonstrated teamwork and sportsmanship, giving their best on the field. This match was not just about the score but about establishing a foundation for girls' sports.
The event marked the beginning of something significant, as girls' flag football continues to gain traction in the state. The support from the community and the Minnesota Vikings suggests a positive future for the sport. It's a promising time for female athletes eager to explore new opportunities.

EHS Community Day: Thursday, May 15th
We are looking forward to our third annual EHS Community Day on Thursday, May 15. We will be altering our school schedule on this day to do the following things:
- Welcome our incoming Freshmen class
- Host an activity fair and provide insights and advice from our current students for these 8th graders
- Show the Senior Awards Video during 5th period for all current students(afterwards it will be linked on our web site).
- Play the Amazing Race in the afternoon - hopefully outdoors on our turf fields and track area.
This day is a great opportunity for all of our staff and students to come together and celebrate an amazing year at EHS.
The afternoon portion of the day will be spent on the Amazing Race. Students will be going to their PAWS classes for 10 minutes after lunches and then go to the Amazing Race. We are very intentional about doing the race during the day to give our learners who ride the bus to school or may have to work in the evening a chance to participate. Our goal is to have over 100 teams participate in this event.
5th Annual Amazing Race
On Thursday, May 15th, we will be having our 5th annual Amazing Race from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. Students can create a team of up to six members and work together to complete a bunch of fun and challenging games that will test them both mentally and physically. Admission is free, and it takes place during the school day, so there's no reason to not participate. Registration forms can be found and returned to the counseling office. Forms are due Wednesday, May 14th. For more information, see Mrs. Catchpool, Mrs. Downing, Mrs. Haus, Mr. Pritzl, or Mr. Snobeck.
