Happy Thursday LPE Families!
Next week we will be participating in Ponderosa's Wish Week, honoring 8 year old Leo whose wish is to meet his favorite NHL hockey player. Please see the calendar for our spirit days and various ways you can support Leo!
On February 28-29, we will be hosting our Student Led Conferences. Student Led Conferences are a great opportunity for your students to share their greatness with you. Teachers will be sending out sign ups today. Please sign up for a 20 minute time slot. Three students will be in the classroom sharing their work with their parents at one time. These are not one on one conferences with the teacher. Specialist teachers who work with your child will also be sending a link to meet with them. The specialist conferences will be one on one to discuss personalized goal progress. Essentials Teachers will be in their rooms with items out for your students to share their learning in those classes. Please connect with your child's classroom teacher or Beth/Suzanne if you have any questions.
Have a great weekend!

Leader in Me Legacy Status Update
Over the past few months, our staff and students have been getting ready for our Leader in Me Legacy Status review. We are currently one of 31 schools in the state of Colorado that have Lighthouse status, and if we are approved will be one of the first schools in the state to achieve this prestigious honor. Our Legacy Review date is February 22, and we will be showcasing all of the wonderful things we do to promote leadership and learning in our students. We will be hosting 3 people from Franklin Covey who will be walking our halls, observing our classrooms, and speaking with a panel of students and parents to get an idea of what everyday life looks like here at Legacy Point. We should know fairly quickly if we have passed our review.
