  • something best made with your students as you teach a lesson
  • a means of scaffolding and walking through a thought process or steps
  • a visual representation of key concepts
  • something you can reference, and even add more to, in following lessons


An anchor chart is NOT...

  • a work of art
  • just for elementary teachers
