I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far! Whether you're spending time with family, close friends, or just taking time to recharge, I wish you all the best during this season of gratitude. Remember that students do not have school Nov 27, 28, or 29.

Also a quick reminder to the winners of our food drive! Don’t forget to come ready for pancakes next week. Sixth grade winners will be served on Monday, Tuesday we will celebrate our 8th grade winners, and Wednesday will be for our 7th grade winners (See ingredients posted below).

As we wrap up November, I want to remind everyone that when we return in December, we’ll hit the ground running. The three weeks before our Holiday Break are packed with events including a PTA meeting, students taking an OST checkpoint, 6th grade fun night, a Toy Drive, and a House competition!

Beginning Monday, December 2nd, the GMSE Student Council will be hosting a toy drive to benefit the Marco Houpe Foundation - From the 2nd through the 15th, the student council is asking students to bring in new, unwrapped toys to donate to the Nationwide Children's Hospital Burn Unit.

If you are able to give, please send in new toys starting the Monday after Thanksgiving (No wrapping paper, please) - The house that collects the most toys will be announced on December 20th - and receive doughnuts in January!

The Heart and Pride Award recognizes two outstanding staff members each month who make a profound impact on our students and Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools.

The Heart & Pride Nomination Form will remain available year-round and is open to any member of our staff, regardless of position.

PTA meetings take place on the 2nd Monday of each month in the GMSE library at 7:00pm. All are welcome!
