Hillside News Brief

As we head into the holidays, it is important to remember that this time of year can hold positive and negative emotions for many people. I find that the month of December can often mean that we see more unexpected behavior from students. I am often a bit busier than usual at this time of year.

I want all our Hillside families to know that the expectations for positive student behavior at our school are in place, even when our schedule is not as consistent as we would like for it to be. Our teachers expect hard work and great behavior, and our students are more than capable of delivering it! I love working with students, and I want Hillside to be a rich experience for each young person here.

I'd like to send a resounding thank you to our Hillside parents, guardians, and families who are helping to shape our students. Supporting our Hillside tigers means that we work together for the best outcome for each child. I am thankful for parents and guardians who reinforce what we are teaching and modeling here each day. Have a wonderful holiday time with your loved ones. I am grateful to be a part of Hillside Elementary.
