A Note From Your Principal
As October begins, I’d like to take a moment to appreciate the season’s transition and the exciting opportunities it brings for our students. Autumn provides an ideal setting for learning, with so many changes occurring outdoors and the chance to incorporate new, natural elements into our artwork and learning centers. This month, we have a range of exciting events lined up such as our fall field trips, Trunk or Treat event, and a special visit from the Columbus Zoo! As always, thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We’re eager for a season of growth, discovery, and fun.
Sincerely,
Allison

Lunch Packing FAQs
We have made some adjustments to eligible lunch items that can be packed for lunch. We've been fielding questions and want to provide the same clarification to all our families...
Q: Why can't I pack juice for my child? He/She doesn't drink milk.
A: Firstly, this supports consistency amongst our classrooms. Secondly, the American Association of Pediatrics suggests limiting juice intake to avoid children's preference for sweet drinks.
Q: I like to include a treat for my child. What kind of treats can I send with lunch?
A: Graham crackers, nut-free granola bars or cookies, fruit/applesauce pouch, pirate's booty (kernel-free popcorn), cheerios
Q: My child is really picky. If I pack something that he isn't allowed to have will he go hungry?
A: Anytime a child says they are still hungry after a meal, teachers can offer supplemental food. Our goal is to eat from 3 food groups and have full bellies!
Q: Was there a specific reason or an incident that inspired these changes?
A: This transition inspired a look at best-practices and small ways we can adjust our program to keep safety top of mind. Mealtimes pose many safety risks with allergies alone. These adjustments are also meant to help our teachers better manage choking hazards and streamline the way we are serving children.
Packing lunch is not an easy task and we greatly appreciate your efforts in making these adjustments.
Mini sessions begin at 3pm and Classic sessions begin at 4pm
