We have a goal of raising $300,000 to complete the Sanctuary Remodel Project - bringing our sanctuary up to date, with new seating, lighting, paint, carpet, and an updated platform design. We have raised $88,867 towards our goal. Please prayerfully consider giving towards this project. If you would like to give to the campaign you can click on the image above and select the Building Fund in the options to give online. All funds given to the building fund will be specifically used for this project. Thank you for your support.

The demo and leveling of the platform has begun. If you are able to help please see Pastor Christopher or David Holly.

On Wednesday, January 15, Pastor Chris will be starting a Wednesday Night Life Group at 6:30pm in Room S161. A Life Group is a small group of people within a church community who regularly meet together to study the Bible, share their lives, encourage one another, and build deeper relationship. It's a way to foster spiritual growth through fellowship and accountability within a smaller group.

We have a New Date for Leadership Meeting on January 14th at 6:30pm. If you have any questions please contact the Main Office.

Sign Ups for Wednesday Night Dinner are Due on Sunday. If you do not sign up on Sunday and come on Wednesday Night we will be asking you to step aside until those who have signed up go through the line. We also ask that you pay the $ 5 for Ind. or $ 20 Family donation at the door, or online.

We will be starting back all our Wednesday Night Activities January 8th with dinner at 5:30. Please sign up in the Welcome Center if you are planning on coming for dinner, so we can know how many to prepare for.

Our Lost & Found is starting to get a little crowded. If you have misplaced anything make sure to take a peak at our Lost & Found that is behind the doors on the Organ Side. If the items are not claimed by the First of the Year they will be donated.

The new Blessing Box is in place and is working out wonderfully. We are collecting items once again for those in need, below are the items needed for the box.

Items Needed items:

Instant oatmeal packets
Dry instant rice and pasta meals both family size and individual
Hot chocolate packets
Dry rice and beans
dry cereals individual and family size
Instant potatoes and gravy packets

There is no children's department fellowship activity for the month of January.

Super Summer 2025 June 16-20 Southwest Baptist University Bolivar Mo. You can pick up your form in the youth room or print and fill out the forms below. All forms are due Wednesday, February 12th.

Pastor Chris and Pastor Christopher will be traveling to the Philippines with First Baptist Church, Diamond, MO at the end of January for a mission trip at Grace Baptist Church in Davao City, Philippines. Grace Baptist is hosting a two-day discipleship training event for its members and regional Filipino pastors. Currently, Grace Baptist has other 9 pastors and wives registered for the two days of training. Following the training event, there will be day of doing children's outreach.

The following is a prayer list for the event:

1. Pray for Pastor Chris, Pastor Christopher and Pastor Tivis Booth (FBC, Diamond) as they prepare to disciple members of Grace Baptist as well as the Filipino pastor's.

2. Pray for the Filipino pastors who will be traveling from afar to be at the training event on Thursday and Friday, January 30-31.

3. Pray for the children's outreach work that will be done on Saturday, February 1.

4. Pray for Pastor Christopher as he disciples youth at Grace Baptist on Sunday, February 2.

5. Pray for Pastor Chris as he goes to Manila the following week to meet with Compassion With the Poor, a Christian Organization dedicated to ministering to the poor and planting churches among the poor.

This mission trip and partnership between Parkade Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Diamond and Grace Baptist Church is facilitated by the Future Leadership Foundation (FLF). FLF exists to promote Great Commission partners who engage in Great Commission teaching. Developing Christ-centered leadership is a true indication the Great Commission is being fulfilled.
