😷🤒 Sick Season is upon us! If your student has a fever or the stomach bug, they can return to school once they are 24 HOURS FREE of a fever or vomiting. Please help us with reducing germs by keeping your kiddos home if they are showing symptoms. NO SCHOOL MONDAY MARCH 31st - Parent/Teacher Conferences.

We are so excited to have the Scholastic Book Fair back at FCS, NEXT WEEK, March 17th - March 21st! All purchases that are made throughout the week will benefit our school. Students will have the opportunity to visit the book fair during their scheduled library class that week. However, if you would like to visit the book fair after school, it will be open on TUESDAY, MARCH 18th from 3-6PM.

Donate:
As always, our goal is to ensure each child walks away with a book - if you’re interested in donating so we can reach that goal you can use the following ewallet link. E-wallet is in Ms. Bellavance’s name and all funds will directly benefit Fairfield students.

Shop Online:
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair starting March 17th. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.

Payment:
This year, say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Of course, cash and cards will still be accepted.

1st & 2nd Grade Fine Arts Night will be held, April 9th. More information to come!

Spring Sport Sign-Ups are officially open! Here, you will find the Google form to fill out for your student wanting to participate in a Spring sport.

7/8 Boys Baseball

7/8 Girls Softball

Track & Field - ALL grades are welcome. ONLY GRADES 5-8 WILL BE COMPETING.

For Rec baseball/softball - Coaches pitch, Machine pitch, & T-Ball registration is open until April 1, 2025. You can find the link for registration, here.

Kindergarten Enrollment for August 2025 is Now Open

All families must complete the required forms for Kindergarten, even if your child is already enrolled in a Maple Run preschool program or an Act 166 program.

Students & their families/chaperones at Jay Peak receive our amazing discounts while visiting Jay Peak even outside of our scheduled field trip dates! This is an amazing opportunity we hope that your families are able to take advantage of. This is valid for ALL K-8 schools in the Maple Run district.

Here is the letter that was sent home to families with students in grades 4 -8 with information about the Jay Peak Foundation Ski/Snowboard field trips! We are so fortunate to have this opportunity as a school!! A big shout out to our very own PE teacher, Tyler Cook, who does a lot to make it happen, along with all the teacher & parent chaperones, and of course the instructors at Jay Peak!

4th/5th Grade will be going to Jay Peak on the following Mondays: January 13th & March 10th.

6th/7th/8th Grades will be going to Jay Peak on the following Mondays: December 16th, February 3rd, March 24th & April 14th!

If you have a student that will be participating in the Jay Peak Foundation Trips please be on the lookout from their homeroom teachers regarding information about their Field Trips.
