Glenn Public School Eagle Post
June 2025
Superintendent's Nest
The end of the school year has arrived! June is a month to reflect on how far each student has come and also to look to the future of what is yet to be achieved! Students have grown not only physically this year but also academically and socially. Students have learned new games, went on adventures and field trips along with being good citizens while completing community service oriented projects. They also made new friends all while learning new concepts in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated and sponsored our Playground Fundraiser on Sunday, May 18th! We raised over $30,000 towards our $72,000 goal and had a fun and entertaining time doing so! We are still accepting donations towards our new playground. I am also applying for grants to cover some of the cost and I hope to hear more over the summer months.
There are many programs being offered at the local libraries to get involved in. Fennville and Saugatuck/Douglas libraries have reading challenges for kids.
We will start Summer hours for the school starting Monday, June 16th. The office will be open Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm. However, the office will be closed the whole week of July 4th. Feel free to email (jamie.walle@glenn.school) or call (269-512-7977) also.
We are accepting new enrollments. So please tell your family, neighbors and friends about our awesome little school! More information can be found on our website at www.glennpublicschool.org.
Thank you for a fantastic school year! This was a year of growth for me and the students! I am excited to see everyone next school year! Enjoy your summer while taking in the sights and sounds of our beautiful state.
Sincerely,
Jamie Walle
