At Libby, we strive to have a safe learning environment for all of our students and staff. Scary costumes can make students feel unsafe at school. Here are our costume policies:

• No masks or helmets covering the face or head allowed; no excessive face paint

• No props of any kind (this includes, but is not limited to , guns, swords, knives, pom poms, shields, etc.)

• No blood and gore

Para que todos nuestros estudiantes se sientan seguros, estas son las reglas de disfraces;

• No se permiten mascaras ni cascos que cubren la cara y cabeza
• No se permite pintura facial excesiva
• No se permiten accesorios de ningun tipo (pistolas, cuchillos, palos, espadas, escudos, pompones,...)
• Ni sangre

BULLYING OR CONFLICT: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Bullying and Conflict are not the same thing. Conflict is something we all deal with on a regular basis. We all learn how to deal with and resolve conflict throughout our lives. Conflicts typically don't make us feel unsafe or threatened. Bullying, however, does make us feel unsafe, and is usually ongoing and happens more than once. EVERYONE DESERVES TO FEEL COMFORTABLE AND SAFE AT SCHOOL!

Thank you for ensuring that our students are present and on time every day. Being here on time is a huge part of student success both academically and socially. Our gates open at 7:45 and classes begin at 8:15. Thank you for your support!

TK and K Dismissal:

• TK/K Parents please park on the street and walk to pick up your children on Wednesdays
• Please do not part in the drive-through area
• Padres de TK/Kinder favor de estacionarse en la calle y caminar para recoger a sus hijos/as
• Favor do no estacionarse en el area de recoger

Our children tend to use social media more during idle times that they are off from school. Please monitor their social media usage as much as possible.
