Front Office Hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Gates open for students at 8:45 am. Students arriving on campus before 8:45 am for a club meeting or working with a teacher must meet the club sponsor/teacher at the gate and time designated by the teacher.

If your student needs to leave early, please complete the online Early Dismissal Form before 10:00 a.m. We will contact a parent/guardian before a student is allowed to drive off campus. Please be available at the number you provided. All early dismissals must sign out at the front office before leaving campus.

If your student was absent for any reason you must submit an absence note within 48 hours of returning to school. You can send in a note to turn into the attendance office or you can complete the 2024-2025 BHS Absentee Form online.

All students should now have their login information for HAC/Schoology/Clever etc. If they do not please have them stop by the front office to see Ms. Lechtrecker or Ms. Houser for assistance.

Private VPN's are prohibited and will block students from accessing school resources. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Internet Safety Policy Guidelines for Students and Visitors.

Beachside High School uses digital IDs for identification. IDs are required to purchase breakfast and/or lunch, check out books from the media center, entry into events etc. Scan the QR code and follow the directions to set up your digital ID. If you do not have a phone and need a physical ID or you are having trouble getting your digital ID please visit the media center for assistance. new.leonards.com

All students should take the following steps to verify accuracy of course requests:

• Log into the student HAC account (must be HAC, not the off-brand app) - https://www.stjohns.k12.fl.us/hac/
• Check the requests for next year
• If students want to request any changes to the seven courses listed then they must fill out the “course request change form” by March 14 at noon https://www-bhs.stjohns.k12.fl.us/guidance/course-selections/

No changes to requests will be possible after March 14 at noon.

FSCJ and SJRSC Free Application Days! Save some money on application fees!

If you are interested in either SJRSC or FSCJ, both schools will be on the Beachside campus for free application days!

FSCJ – Tuesday, March 25, 11:15-3:15, Media Center

SJRSC – Wednesday, March 26, 11:00 – 2:20, Media Center

Seniors should have their social security number memorized for the application.

No need for seniors to sign up ahead of time, seniors should just stop by the media center with a pass from their teacher or during their modified period.

Both schools are waiving application fees and will have representatives on site to answer questions.

We will have seniors sign in for attendance purposes.

On Wednesday, March 12, our School Counselors are hosting our BHS College and Career Fair. The College and Career Fair will take place in our courtyard during student lunches. Please note that this event is for STUDENTS ONLY. This provides them with a great time to explore college and career opportunities.

Join us for the First Annual Barracuda Blitz on Tuesday, March 4th at 6:00 pm. Starting at 6:00, attendees will become a mobile pep squad to cheer on Boys Lacrosse, Boys Baseball, and Girls Softball. We will move from sport to sport to show our Barracuda Pride and support for our student athletes. BHS students can attend or free. We will also have a dunk tank, free popcorn, and chances to win BHS merch! Let's pack the stadiums and and help our teams bring home the win!
