Weekly Community Updates - September 13, 2024
I hope students enjoyed their middle of the week day off!
We are looking forward to our first dance this evening with students coming in their best 90's gear. Please note that doors close at 7:00pm and starting at 8:00pm students may leave the dance without the school contacting parents/guardians. All school rules apply and our dance protocol is linked below.
Next week is Back to School Night! We are looking forward to welcoming families. This year, we will have students volunteering to help with translation. If you would like translation services, please email me at mtorres@jeffersonunion.net so I can be sure we have enough student volunteers.
To prepare for Back to School Night, log into ParentVUE and take a screenshot of your students' schedule. It will have your student's teachers names and classroom numbers. While you are on ParentVUE, this is also a great time to look at your student's current grades. The first progress report of the school year closes on Friday September 20th. Look below for additional information about the first progress report.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Take care,
Maritza Torres
