Westfield High School rolled out the red carpet for a very special guest—Congresswoman Erica S. Lee Carter! 🌟 As the daughter of the late Sheila Jackson Lee and a trailblazer in the 118th Congress, her visit was nothing short of inspiring. Sharing wisdom and her journey, she lit a spark in students to dream big and lead with purpose. A big shout-out to Mr. Sims’ government class for hosting this moment of learning and leadership! 🏛️✨
Armed with everyday items, these young innovators transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary, crafting inventions that showcased their amazing creativity. 🏈We had several high school students sign their Letters of Intent to go play football in college! Their hard work over their careers have brought them great success on the field, and their dedication in the classroom has made their teachers and teammates proud! Congrats to all of our football players and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you all. 🥳
Mrs. Cantu’s class didn’t just learn about the history of piñatas—they brought it to life in full color! From bright hues to creative designs, these piñatas are total masterpieces. This wasn’t just an art project; it was a journey into tradition. Students learned how piñatas spread joy while flexing their creative muscles. Their work? 100 percent iconic! 🪅 🎉
Instead of flying south when it gets cold, these hawks open a good book! Hirsh Elementary hosted a Winter Wonderland Literacy Night filled with great books and even greater memories made.
