Congratulations to 7th grader Abbie Joiner, who competed at the American Scholastic Climbing League's 2023-2024 Southern Colorado Middle School Championship on February 17th. Abbie earned the top of the podium spot, taking first place for the middle school competition. Her climbs were so fabulous, she outscored high school students who made the HS podium. Incredible work, Abbie! Congratulations! We can't wait to see what you accomplish in the coming years!

A Squad ~ 4:00PM – 5:30PM

B Squad ~ 5:30PM – 7:00PM

Requirements: (by February 23rd)

· Yellow Physical Card with signatures

· Blue Emergency Card

· Payment (due after team selection March 3rd)

The top 12 most skilled 6th, 7th & 8th grade students will be selected for the A Squad. After the A Squad is formed, the next 12-14 most skilled 6th & 7th grade students will be selected for the B squad (8th graders may not be on B squad).

Most A squad practices will be 4-5:30, and B squad will be 5:30-7, with games mostly Tuesday and Thursdays. Students who make A or B squad will be asked to commit to these times. Please check your schedules before trying out. Missing practices or leaving early will result in dismissal from the team.

**** C Squad/Hybrid opportunities are TBD.
