Willow Parent Bulletin # 28

• Next week is spring break. Students come back on April 1st.
• Your child should have a nutritious snack each day. The school does not supply this.
• The lost and found is overflowing. Please find a moment to check in and look for lost items. We also have 5 pair of glasses in the office.
• Outside food cannot be shared with classmates. This means no edible birthday treats. We have a large number of students with food allergies. Food sent in will be returned home with the student.
• Please continue to send a water bottle, labels with your child's name, each day.

Mrs. Wallace's class made sure the school was free of the pesky little mischief makers by making leprechaun traps. It's a great way to apply those STEM skills they are learning!

Pending approval at the April 8th Board of Education meeting, policy 7:100 Health, Eye, and Dental Examinations; Immunizations; and Exclusion of Students will be amended for Willow School. This means we will be going back to 1st day exclusion of students who do not have the required medical paperwork on file with the school nurse. This includes physicals and up-to-date immunizations.

Students not having this paperwork will be unable to start school. Please make any necessary doctor's appointment now. If you have a PreK student, going into Kindergarten, and his/her/their physical from this year was done AFTER August 21, 2023, he/she/they do not need a new one. Any physicals prior to August 21, 2023 need to be updated.

We were treated to 2 performances by one of the HF Jazz bands. We loved seeing some of our former Wildcats! If you look closely, you'll notice a slightly older musician in the front row...James Hart Band Director Matt Johnson also sat in. Thanks to this talented group for a great start to the week!

We were super popular last week and had 595 readers! We had guest Wildcats in 13 states, Mumbai, and Singapore! Hello, new Wildcats!
